Mike Hull on Dixon missing the morning warm-up

Despite missing the morning warm-up, Scott Dixon enjoys a banner day at Road America

AR1 spoke to Mike Hull after Scott Dixon's win today about the issue that caused Dixon to miss the morning warm-up.

AR1: What was the issue with Scott's car this morning?

Hull: We had a fuel pressure problem. The guys really hustled hard and they just changed everything related to the fuel system, which is a lot of work. And we honestly didn't know if we fixed the problem until we got the green flag. It worked and we won.

AR1: Is it hard knowing that you have to beat the dominate Team Penske?

Hull: This weekend was unlike any other race. We have been racing against Team Penske fair and square, wheel to wheel, for a long time. When we race against each other it is a lot of fun. Our records over the last 20 years or so are pretty equal. It's a tug of war all the time with those guys. They work really, really hard at their craft, just like we do. So it is great validation for everyone at Ganassi Racing.
