Pirelli announces Monza compounds
Formula 1 tire supplier has announced that it will bring its Super Soft, Soft and Medium compounds to the Italian Grand Prix, matching last year's choices.
Pirelli has already used the combination in China, Bahrain and Azerbaijan this season, and has made the same selection for Britain, Hungary, Malaysia and Japan.
Out of the 13 available sets of tires, one set of Super Softs must be set aside for Q3, while one set of either the Softs or Mediums must be run for one stint of the race.
Drivers are given free choice for the remaining 10 sets of rubber.
Formula 1 will visit Monza on the weekend of September 2-3.
