IndyCar and F1 up on NBCSN
No sponsors will even look at you with those kind of numbers. At least F1 gets a cumulative 30 million viewers per race worldwide. IndyCar gets just the 474,000 in the USA and a few thousand more elsewhere. When you think small you are small. |
Through six races, NBCSN's coverage of the 2017 Verizon INDYCAR SERIES has averaged 474,000 viewers to rank as NBCSN's most-watched INDYCAR season on record to-date.
Viewership is up 16% vs. the comparable five races in 2016 (408,000).
Through nine races, NBC Sports Group's 2017 F1 coverage has averaged 579,000 viewers, up 16% vs. the same point in 2016 (eight races; 498,000).
