Gidley spotted at Putnam

Memo Gidley was spotted driving the #63 Saleen ALMS GT1 car operated by ACEMCO Motorsports at Putnam Park on Wednesday and Thursday. It appears that Memo was hired to evaluate and test the car for two days. However, after going substantially quicker than the Acemco team had ever gone before at that track, there are indications that the team is pushing to hire Memo to drive the Saleen S7. No word on whether or not Gidley will be asked to drive the car in the ALMS, in addition to his current #19 Air Force Reserve Grand Am Daytona Prototype drive campaigned by Finlay Motorsports.
