Three teams chasing Kimi

UPDATE McLaren's Ron Dennis has urged Kimi Raikkonen to stay put if the Finn wants to become a F1 world champion. The Woking based chief told team sponsor TAG Heuer's website that Ayrton Senna, Alain Prost and Mika Hakkinen all stuck it out but ultimately wore the crown.

''There are examples,'' the team principal said, ''where drivers who keep changing … do not become champion.''

The Tag Heuer report claims that 'three teams' are interested in the 25-year-old championship challenger. ''These … include McLaren, Ferrari and BMW,'' it stated, ''with … McLaren … already in discussions with their man (about) a new ongoing contract.''
