Formula 1 tire supplier Pirelli has completed its selections for the 2017 campaign by confirming which compounds it will take to the Brazilian and Abu Dhabi Grands Prix.
For the Interlagos event, the manufacturer has selected the Super Soft, Soft and Medium tires, while at the Yas Marina Circuit, the Ultra Soft, Super Soft and Soft tires will be used.
Out of the 13 available sets of tires, one set of the softest available compound at each event (Super Soft in Brazil, Ultra Soft in Abu Dhabi) must be set aside for use only in Q3.
For the race, either one of the two hardest available compounds must be used for one stint (Soft or Medium in Brazil, Super Soft or Soft in Abu Dhabi).
Drivers are given free choice for the remaining 10 sets of rubber.
