Team orders in Turkey?
Giancarlo Fisichella has vowed to 'help' Renault teammate Fernando Alonso to lift the world F1 championship. The Roman, a whopping 57 points behind Spain's Alonso with six races to go, qualified second for the inaugural Turkish grand prix — just ahead of the title leader.
Fisichella, 32, insisted that Renault has not yet imposed any standing team orders, which are forbidden by the FIA.
But he added: ''If Fernando needs help from me, I will help him.''
It is also suggested that title chaser Kimi Raikkonen's McLaren teammate, Juan Pablo Montoya – who qualified just behind the blue and yellow charge – could also be a spoiler.
The 25 year old Finn said: ''We don't have any team orders. We will do our own races and see where we end up.''
