Irvine to start own team?

Former Ferrari star Eddie Irvine is considering setting up a brand new Formula 1 team after a failed bid to buy Minardi, according to this week’s Autosport magazine. After failing in his bid to buy Midland Jordan and then most recently Minardi, Russian entrepreneur Rustam Tariko and Irvine are believed to be exploring the idea of building a new team from scratch, perhaps engaging a car manufacturer like Dallara or Lola.
