Keene Leaves MSR for New Role at Action Express
Keene, who served as general manager for the Ohio-based squad since the start of its factory Acura NSX GT3 program, made the move following the last round at Road America earlier this month.
It’s understood Keene’s new position will be made official next week by the Bob Johnson-owned team.
“It has been a very big year for this organization with the development of the Acura NSX GT3, going from the first time on track all the way to winning races with it, and of course getting our first start in the Indianapolis 500," Shank said.
“Tim helped us grow to take on these challenges and made big contributions to both of those efforts.
“I recognize that he has a great opportunity ahead of him and we wish him all the best with what is next for him."
Shank said he will fill the position for next year.
