Volkswagen Andretti Rallycross hits the 0.735-mile course at Evergreen Speedway Saturday for the first of two events in this weekend's double-header near Seattle. Round 10's action broadcasts Saturday, Sept. 9, at 4:30 p.m. ET on NBC.

No. 41 SCOTT SPEED OBERTO CIRCLE K BEETLE GRC

• Heat 1A: Started 2 // Finished 1
• Will start second in tomorrow's Heat 2B
• Missed the Fast Six after qualifying fourth in Group 1 under GRC's new qualification format
• Led Final Practice with a fastest lap of 38.922

“So far, today has not been without its dramas. The good news is we’ve been the fastest car every time we hit the track. We had a major hiccup in qualifying, and we didn’t really get a lap. That made us start in not-so-favorable of a position, but we were able to win our heat race and collected good points. We’ll start our second heat race second. It’s not ideal, again, but we’re fast and if we keep our nose clean this Oberto whip is going to crush it."

No. 34 TANNER FAUST ROCKSTAR ENERGY DRINK BEETLE GRC

• Heat 1B: Started 2 // Finished 1
• Will start first in tomorrow's Heat 2B
• Qualified second overall and transferred to the Fast Six after finishing second in Group 1 under GRC's new qualification format
• Finished third in Final Practice with a fastest lap of 39.392, 0.470 behind leader and VARX teammate Speed for 1-2 finish

“Today was a pretty long day. I had the pleasure of taking Keith Curtis, a professional snowmobile hill climb rider and fellow Polaris athlete, for a media ride while also getting a taste of the track here at GRC Seattle. After a little bit of a struggle in qualifying, we finished P2 and then won our heat, which with my teammate Scott [Speed] winning his heat, puts us in a good spot for Round 10 tomorrow. Bring on the rain."
