Christian Daly Fractures Leg During P1AquaX National Watercross Championships

Christian Daly, 20 year old younger brother of IndyCar driver, Conor Daly, fractured his right leg while competing at the P1AquaX National Watercross Championships in Chicago this weekend. Daly was attempting to take the lead in rough water conditions when he hit a series of waves on the back straight and lost control of his Yamaha EX. "I'm sore and mad at myself that I didn't quite pull it off. I want to recover as soon as possible and get back on the boat," said Daly.

Daly will see an orthopedic specialist in Indianapolis and hopes to recover quick enough to participate in the IJSBA World Finals in Lake Havasu, Arizona, October 2nd – 8th.
