Forsythe eyes Hunter-Reay

Word is that Hunter-Reay could get the 3rd Forsythe Racing entry for 2006. The team confirmed to AutoRacing1.com that they still have enough cars to field 3 entries in 2006. This would be good news for the young American who needs a shot with a top team to prove he can get the job done after a disastrous 2006 season. The pressure would then be on Hunter-Reay to produce results. "I welcome that challenge," Hunter-Reay told AutoRacing1.com. He has been added to our 2006 Champ Car Silly Season page above.

Forsythe told AutoRacing1.com, "Yes, we met with Ryan this morning. I told him that if he or we can find some sponsorship in the off-season we would like to give him a shot.. We do need more American drivers. Ryan's a good kid and Kevin and I stepped up last year to make sure he had a ride in Champ Car."
