Ralf to be own manager

Ralf Schumacher will not seek a replacement for his fired long-time manager Willi Weber.

It is reported in the German press that the 30-year-old Toyota driver will handle his own business affairs, out of a newly established HQ called 'RSC Office' (Ralf Schumacher Office) near his Austrian home.

It is also claimed that Ralf and Weber were never close. Ralf told 'Bild' newspaper that he 'doesn't need' a manager.

Weber, however, told the German tabloid that 'Schu Jr' is heavily influenced by wife Cora, who is a growing celebrity in Germany. ''I don't know anyone,'' Willi said, ''who Ralf listens to, except her.

''Hopefully it all goes well for him. I will always remain his friend.'' Bild said Cora's own manager, Alain Midzic, may be involved in Schumacher's new business affairs.
