Tracy to add more NASCAR races to his ’06 schedule
"Right now we have the five races," Tracy said, "but if we could piggyback those events with other races, it's only going to get me more experience in those types of cars.
"Those are deals we are trying to put together. But I'm just trying to learn as much as I can and not get into situations with anybody.
"I've had a career in Champ Car, and I have another year on my contract with Forsythe. I have been dabbling into NASCAR to see if there is an opportunity here.
"For my first five races, my focus will be just to do the best that I can and learn as much as I can and finish each race, and try and finish well. Hopefully that will open up more opportunities for the future."
"I don't know where my future is going to go, but I have the opportunity to be allowed to do all kinds of different things," he added.
"It is just a great point in my career right now. To drive three disciplines of races cars – a Champ Car, a Busch car and a Grand AM car in one season is something not a lot of people have done.
"I don't expect it to be easy. The level of drivers and competition and the teams is tough. I have no experience of that. I have to go out and get my feet wet and see what it is all about.
"There are guys who have made the transitions successfully and there are guys who haven't. Hopefully I'll be on the right end of it."
