Boris Said without a ride in ’06?

Boris Said hasn't heard his phone ring, so he is assuming he has no deal with sponsor Centrix and MB2 Motorsports for this year. The veteran road racer drove in nine races for the team in 2005. He said he was scheduled to run the Daytona 500 before the team was able to land Bill Elliott for that race. "The last I talked to Centrix, they shook my hand and said we're doing the Daytona 500 and haven't returned a phone call since," Said said Jan. 27. "I don't really know. I'm pursuing and looking for sponsors. I have something to offer to do a partial season and a chance to win two races, with a sponsor that maybe wants to get their feet wet. Maybe Centrix will return my calls, but right now, I don't know what to think but it's not good." Said will compete in the two Busch Series road course events with a "really great" team, he said.
