Jourdain has no NASCAR ride for 2006

Michel Jourdain said in an interview with the Record (a Mexican all-sports newspaper) that he doesn’t know why the ads for the Busch Series race in Mexico City and different press releases from organizers mention him as one of the Mexican drivers confirmed to run the race. Jourdain said that although he has a contract with Ford he has not found enough sponsorship to run in the Busch series. He went on to say that only a miracle would put him in the drivers seat in Daytona for the season opener, but he is working to get enough sponsorship to run at least a few races, hopefully Mexico being one of them.
