Tanner Foust Wins Red Bull Global Rallycross Round 12 in Los Angeles

Winning Red Bull Global Rallycross (GRC) Round 12 at the Port of Los Angeles San Pedro, Tanner Foust claimed his 16th victory in GRC competition, crossing the finish line first in his No. 34 Rockstar Energy Drink Beetle GRC over Scott Speed and Patrik Sandell, finishing second and third respectively.
Closing his fourth season with Indianapolis-based Volkswagen Andretti Rallycross (VARX), Foust also boasts 86 heat race wins, 43 podiums, four X Games gold medals and two championships in GRC competition, in addition to his wins.
Honing his skills on and off track, Foust brings to the table a diverse background in various forms of racing that includes rallycross, drift and stunt driving, racking up accomplishments that include podiums, championships, X Games medals and world records. The first American driver to win a round of the European Rallycross Championship, Foust has been a competitive force since the sport was first introduced to the United States in 2010.
Today’s win marks the 27th GRC victory for the VARX team, amassing two series titles (‘15/Speed and ‘16/Speed), 51 podiums, 133 heat race wins and 64 top fives in its four seasons.
Volkswagen Andretti Rallycross fields two full-time entries in the Red Bull Global Rallycross series, with Foust and Scott Speed (No. 41 Oberto Circle K Beetle GRC).
