Indy 500 rumors

We are hearing some pretty wild Indy 500 rumors out of some IRL sources, which you should take with a grain of salt for now.

Hearing Tony George has invested in 10 extra cars for Indy to fill the field.

Hearing Tony Stewart will start the race.

As we rumored from down in Homestead this past weekend, we are hearing that Al Unser Jr. has been working out with his son to compete at Indy only.

Hearing that Mario Andretti could attempt to qualify for the Indy 500 and make it the first Grandson, Father, and Grandfather combo to start Indy. If only 33 cars attempt to qualify, he's guaranteed a spot in the race. Not that he needs a guarantee as he could probably still smoke half the field at 66 years old.

Hearing Tony George might provide a car for Sarah Fisher for Indy only to make it a Danica vs. Sarah story.
