Mike Bugarewicz, crew chief for Clint Bowyer’s Stewart-Haas Racing Ford has been fined $25,000 and suspended for Sunday’s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway for infractions at last weekend's Richmond race.

The team was hit with an L1-level penalty because of a violation of Section 20.18.5.2 of the NASCAR rulebook relating to in-car cameras. Teams are required to carry simulated weight when not carrying onboard cameras.

The team was also docked 10 points in both the owner and driver standings and Bowyer’s third-place finish was declared encumbered.

NASCAR also fined crew chiefs Robert “Bootie" Barker of Germain Racing and Scott Graves of Joe Gibbs Racing $10,000 each.

Barker’s car driven by Ty Dillon and Graves’ Toyota handled by Daniel Suarez were each found with an unsecured lug nut during post-race inspection.
