Ferrari reject Coulthard rumor

(GMM) Jean Todt has refuted speculation linking Red Bull's David Coulthard with a Ferrari seat.

In denying the story at Silverstone, he also rejected similar whispers of a year ago that had Jenson Button moving to a red cockpit.

''We never had contact with Button, never,'' Todt told reporters in England, ''and we have had no contact with Coulthard.''

Todt insisted: ''The last contact I had with David Coulthard was when he asked if he could test a road car at Fiorano.''
