Ralf hints at Schu brother rift
The pair have shared the grid for 150 grands prix and nearly a decade, but in the last few years there have been signs in the paddock that not all is rosy behind motor home doors.
In the illustrated magazine 'Bunte', 31-year-old Ralf played down the influence that elder sibling Michael – a seven time title winner – has had on his life.
He said: ''Privately and professionally, Michael was never for me a role-model.''
'Schumi II' did have to admit, however, that Michael's inevitable retirement from formula one could damage the sport in Germany if another countryman isn't ready to step up into championship contention.
Coincidentally, Ralf and Michael are due to meet in the FIA press conference at Hockenheim on Thursday, alongside fellow German racers Nico Rosberg and Nick Heidfeld.
