NBC eyes bigger role in Champ Car

Spotted NBC producer Chris Landy here in San Jose and word is that NBC is interested in taking a bigger role in Champ Car in 2007, especially since they will no longer be doing NASCAR. We hear they may want to do 4 to 6 races. This year they have three, Long Beach, here in San Jose and Montreal. We also hear CBS still wants to be involved as does SPEED Channel. Mark C.
