Word in Indianapolis is that Bernie Ecclestone has increased the annual sanctioning fee the Indy Motor Speedway would have to pay to renew their F1 race contract from $15 million per year to $20 million per year, a 33% increase. The city has indicated they would help, and that may be the ONLY way the USGP returns to Indy.
