Alonso duped Schu – manager
Video evidence released on Sunday showed Alonso's Renault, already penalized by stewards after an incident on Friday, slowing to a crawl in front of Robert Kubica, before Schumacher zoomed past the pair of them.
''An experienced driver like Michael does not overtake in a red flag,'' Weber was quoted as saying by 'Bild am Sonntag' newspaper.
He added: ''Alonso saw him and intentionally braked.''
BMW-Sauber rookie Kubica, however, told a different story, insisting that Alonso drove at a 'consistent speed' throughout the lap.
Alonso said: ''To overtake two cars under a red flag is unthinkable. I've never seen anything like that.
''Everyone says that I slowed down but if you pass two cars on the outside of a corner, you have to decide to do it yourself.''
Renault boss Flavio Briatore, meanwhile, refused to defend Alonso for his earlier stewards' misgiving involving Robert Doornbos.
But he also spared no praise for Schumacher. ''They were both stupid,'' the Renault boss was quoted as saying by 'AS' newspaper in Spain.
He said: ''They behaved like children.
''You can't say that the pressure is getting to Fernando because you also would have to say that it is getting to Schumacher.''
