Vettel to stay on

According to whispers from Monza, BMW motor sport director Mario Theissen told Sebastian Vettel on Friday that the impressive German rookie is to remain at the wheel of the 'Friday' car for the remaining three grands prix of the 2006 season.

''At his young age he is capable of handling this job,'' Theissen said.
