Klien eyes Honda test seat

(GMM) Another possibility for Christian Klien in the 2007 season is a test driver role for works team Honda, it has emerged.

The Red Bull refugee is still linked with the vacant Spyker seat alongside Christijan Albers, but that option took a hit during the week when team officials indicated that a traditional pay-driver would likely get the nod.

Honda, however, could be on the lookout for an experienced replacement for Anthony Davidson, who is on the verge of a 2007 racing role at the Super Aguri team.

Klien's father and manager Johannes apparently counts a test seat at the Japanese carmaker as an option for his son, alongside possible openings at Spyker and Champ Car.
