Where will Sharp take his money?

Scott Sharp tested a Rahal Letterman Racing car this week at the new Iowa Speedway, but that doesn't mean the former Indy Racing League champion is headed for that team next season. He said he has options.

One option is owning a team. If that is the route he chooses, it will include a short-term partnership with Chip Ganassi, allowing Sharp to build equity in the program while driving a competitive car.

"I don't want to waste a couple of years starting a team (from scratch)," he said Wednesday.

If Sharp, who has sponsorship from Petrone, a tequila company, decides to focus on driving, he could end up with one of several teams: Vision, Panther, Rahal or the fourth Andretti Green car if Dario Franchitti doesn't return. IndyStar.com

[Editor's Note: Petrone? Looks like long-time sponsor Delphi has given up their support of Sharp. It is interesting about Ganassi Racing – will Scott Dixon return?]
