Michelin leaves door open for F1 return
Michelin is leaving F1 because of a rules change that eliminates tire competition, but that does not mean it won't someday be back.
“Michelin will keep a very close eye on the way the sport evolves. Competition is very close to our heart, and if F1 goes the way we think it will go, then we’d be willing to come back to F1. It’s not a question of Max Mosley, it’s a question of the sport, and does the sport correspond to what Michelin’s ethics and values are. I think we’ve expressed it sufficiently for people to understand that we are very, very keen supporters of motorsport in general, and particular F1, when it’s competitive."
