Swede tipped to get F1 test
World Series by Renault champion Alx Danielsson is tipped to make his F1 test debut this winter. The Swede, who wrapped up the title at Barcelona during the weekend, will reportedly earn the Renault test as a prize for becoming the junior series' champion, according to reports on Wednesday.
"I hope to represent Sweden on the Formula One track," the 25-year-old told 'Formule 1 Race Report' in Holland.
He hinted that the test in the French marque's single seater could be staged 'soon', with sources adding that a date has not yet been set.
BMW-Sauber's impressive rookie racer Robert Kubica, then effectively an unknown to the world of grand prix racing, won the World Series' title – and a F1 test – last year.
