ThorSport Racing drivers Ben Rhodes and Grant Enfinger will return to the team for the 2018 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season, joining driver Matt Crafton.

Enfinger, the 2015 ARCA Racing Series champion, will return to drive the no. 98 Ford F-150, while Rhodes will pilot the no. 41 Ford which will utilize the owners points from the no. 27 truck Rhodes campaigned in during the 2017 season.

ThorSport Racing announced Monday that they will field Ford F-150’s for their NASCAR Camping World Truck Series entries for the 2018 season.

ThorSport announced last week it was severing their six-year partnership with Toyota. The Sandusky, Ohio-based team won back to back championships with driver Matt Crafton driving for Toyota in 2013 and 2014. The team previously fielded Chevrolet’s from the team’s founding in 1996 until 2012.

"We're looking forward to working with Ford and they're what I started with in NASCAR," said Crafton. “In my old Southwest Tour days in 1997 I started racing a Ford out west and that's all my dad has ever owned and raced, so it's very exciting for him because he always said whenever I first started racing another manufacturer, 'I don't know if I can root for you because I've only driven a Ford and you've only driven a Ford,' so I guess now I've got a new fan in my dad."

Crafton said ThorSport is currently retrofitting their fleet of Toyota Tundras by cutting off everything off from the windshield bed forward and put all the Ford noses on it and the Ford back half, so there's a lot going on and those guys are working a lot of hours right now to get this stuff done."

"Ford is gonna give us a lot of support – the wind tunnel, engineering support," Crafton said. “We're gonna get everything we've had in the past, and just being the only Ford team out there and for the most part are gonna be backed by them just like some of the other teams are."
