Premat to drive for Conquest team

Alexandre Premat was so impressed with the Champ Car he drove this week, and with the Mi-Jack team, that he wants to put together a deal to race with them next year.

"I'm very happy with how my test went," he said. "The car is completely different to an F1 car but it's really good to drive.

"I really like Champ Car, I watched every race this year and I intend on doing everything I can to be in the series next year."

"I'm really happy to have done a test in a Champ Car, I think the series is incredible and it was a lot of fun being behind the wheel of the car.

"The Conquest mechanics are great. It was a pleasure to work with them and I hope not only to be in Champ Car next year but to be with this team."

Team boss Eric Bachelart told AutoRacing1.com that everything was looking good for next year. It appears Premat could be a good find.
