GM may drop Minivans

General Motors has cancelled plans for its next-generation minivans, Detroit reports say.

However, a GM spokesperson said no decision has been made, although he acknowledged that the program is under review.

If the vans are dropped, GM will rely on its new generation of big, car-based crossovers SUVs — including the Saturn Outlook, GMC Acadia and Buick Enclave — to play the people-mover role.
