Ralf makes $22.5m per year – newspaper

(GMM) Despite not winning a grand prix for Toyota so far, Germany's Ralf Schumacher remains one of the highest paid drivers on the F1 grid.

That is the claim of Europe's popular 'Bild Zeitung' newspaper, which said the 31-year-old makes (US) $22.5m a year.

6-time winner Schumacher's most recent GP victory was with Williams in France, 2003. His best finish for Toyota is a podium in Australia.

"Prior to the holidays, the Christmas party with the team is scheduled in Cologne, which I am already really looking forward to," Ralf said this week.
