Gascoyne likely to retire in 2009

(GMM) Mike Gascoyne says Spyker is likely to be his last destination in F1's pit lane.

The technical chief, who joined the Silverstone based team late last year after being sacked by Toyota, told the British magazine Autosport that he can imagine retiring in three years.

"I don't want to do this forever, that's one thing I definitely know," Gascoyne said.

"This will probably be my last job in F1. If I'm here for three years that will take me to (the age of) 46 and I'll have worked in F1 for 20 years.

"I think by then maybe it'll be time to go off and sail around the world."
