GP2 rumors

Arden Motorsports will announce its much anticipated driver lineup at Birmingham's MotorShow later this week. Meanwhile Supernova is likely to announce their lineup in the next few days. Luca Filippi and Mike Conway are rumored to be paired up in the team's Dallaras, while talks with Alex Danielsson fell apart.

BCN Racing may get an unexpected driver. Sakon Yamamoto would be interested in a GP2 season together with his Super Aguri F1 testing role. The Japanese driver is close to signing a deal, while for the second seat the main candidates are Spain's Borja Garcia and Hiroki Yoshimoto.

Only a few places remain open: Adrian Valles and Riccardo Risatti are rumored to be Campos' main choices to line up alongside the confirmed Giorgio Pantano, while Luiz Razia seems to be close to a Racing Engineering deal. The Durango and Carlin seats are still up in the air, but many drivers are still interested in joining the two teams.
