Doornbos confirmed for Minardi team

UPDATE Hungarian TV channel RTL Klub just aired a short interview with Paul Stoddart. He confirmed that Robert Doornbos will drive in Champ Car this season. When he was asked about the Minardi team's second driver, he didn't answer but added that Zsolt Baumgartner will be the only test driver this year and will participate in the two-seater program for the team. He said Zsolt needs to get sponsorship (money) in order to compete in Champ Car.

03/17/07 Former Minardi chief Paul Stoddart confirmed at Albert Park for the F1 race that Red Bull test driver Robert Doornbos – who is mysteriously not here this weekend – will race for his Champ Car outfit in 2007.
