Video: NHRA legend John Force taken to hospital after crash in Phoenix (Update)

UPDATE John Force was released from the hospital Sunday evening and returned to the track to congratulate his daughter, Courtney Force, who won the Funny Car final while he was at the hospital.

“This was a great day for John Force Racing," Force said. “Brittany came back from a crash at Pomona and won first round and Courtney won Funny Car for Advance Auto Parts. My struggles continue, but I’m a big boy, I’ll fix it."

02/25/18 Jonnie Lindberg and John Force collided during eliminations at the #ArizonaNats. Force was speaking with safety personnel and was transported to the local hospital for evaluation. Lindberg exited the car under his own power. Force also blew up his Chevy in the season opener in Pomona, and he was sent to the hospital then as well.
