Bahrain GP TV rating up big on ESPN

The Bahrain GP Formula 1 race at 11:00 AM Sunday morning on ESPN2 notched a 0.5 overnight rating on ESPN2, up 100% from the 0.25 on CNBC last year at the same time and up 25% from the 0.40 rating when the race aired on NBCSN in 2016. If the race aired on ESPN instead of ESPN2 the rating might have been a 0.6 or a 0.7.

So far it appears F1 made a smart move to switch from NBCSN to ESPN/Sky to boost their USA TV ratings. Let's see what the future holds.
