Graham Rahal was on The Weather Channel this morning talking about what drivers will face with the heavy rain and cool temperatures predicted for Sunday in Birmingham, Alabama where IndyCar will hold its 4th race of the 2018 season in the Honda Grand Prix of Alabama.

Because Indycar does not have intermediate rain tires like F1 for light rain conditions, the Firestone rain tire is a compromise and is too hard for heavy rain situations. This usually results in many spins and the pace car leads the most laps. If IndyCar does not want to do wet races properly, they should not do them at all.
