Doornbos could get BMW ride

With Timo Glock signing with Toyota, the BMW Sauber F1 team is looking for a replacement test driver. F3 driver Marco Asmer from Estonia, F3 driver Nico Hulkenberg from Germany, and Champ Car driver Robert Doornbos from Holland are said to be in the frame for the seat.

"He (Marko Asmer) would be a potential candidate for a future test drive, one of several I have to say," said BMW's Mario Theissen.

"Obviously I will have a closer look at who emerged from Formula BMW, because I know them from the past years and I want to see how they develop. And then there are a few others."
