2008 F1 Silly Season page

As Renault confirmed its 2008 driver lineup we have updated our 2008 F1 Silly Season page. There are (officially) four seats still available for the 2008 season. McLaren has to appoint Alonso's replacement. Super Aguri has yet to confirm its two drivers but will most likely continue with Takuma Sato and Anthony Davidson. And at Force India F1 four drivers are shooting for the 2nd seat.

Compare the F1 page to the 2008 Champ Car Silly Season page where very few seats are confirmed and this off-season looks to be yet another PR nightmare for the reeling organization. With little or no sponsorship teams await last minute checks from ride-buyers before announcing their driver lineup, sometimes just days before the first race. The same mistake is made year-in and year-out and the owners wonder why Champ Car cannot get any traction.
