Tagliani could be in line for PKV seat

UPDATE This rumor is upgraded to 'strong' with today's announcement that Tagliani will test for PKV Racing.

Alex Tagliani

01/10/08 Alex Tagliani could be the second driver sought by PKV. The French Canadian driver is without a contract after terminating his association with Rocketsports. He is still talking with PKV as of today.

"I would not say that an agreement is imminent, but things are going well," said Tagliani. ''It is clear that they are interested in me. Right now, they are looking at how I could help them as far as marketing in Canada. If everyone pushes in the right direction, it could be good for me and the team."

PKV already has the services of the veteran Oriol Servia, hired last week. The 33 year old Spaniard drove a car for PKV for the two last races of the 2007 season. "Oriol is a super good guy, I like him very much. And perhaps with this team, I could win the championship. In any case, it is what I wish for the continuation of my career," Tagliani states. RDS.ca
