Pettit to sue NHLR?

Just when you thought things could not get any worse for Champ Car, rumor has it that one Champ Car team might be suing another. We are told to look for a lawsuit soon on the Newman/Haas/Lanigan Racing deal with Justin Wilson for contract interference. Although we have no official confirmation one can assume it will be Dan Pettit bringing the lawsuit because he had a contract with Wilson and the rumor is that Wilson is soon to be announced at NHLR.

We hear they have been discussing it for quite a while. Contract disputes happen in business and the resolution does not always make friends or enemies. In this case they are not enemies; they just have a difference of opinion we are told.
