Champ Car to announce new PR Director

UPDATE #2 David Higdon announced that Champ Car has hired Pat Caporali as Director, Media Relations. She will work for both the Champ Car World Series and Atlantic Series, and report to David Higdon. Both Karina Redmond and Nate Siebens now will report to Pat.

Pat has been working since January 2004 with Chip Ganassi Racing's IRL IndyCar Series team, Rolex Grand-Am Sportscar Series team and Indy Pro Series team. Before joining Ganassi, she served as Project Manager of Player’s/Forsythe Racing with Torchia Communications. Pat also was a sports reporter and writer for CFCF 12 TV in Montreal prior to her work with Torchia.

01/29/08 This rumor is upgraded to 'fact' today as we have learned that because David Higdon is now responsible for overseeing TV for Champ Car, he has hired this woman to head up PR and it will be the first of several exciting announcements Champ Car has coming out. The new PR Director will report to Higdon.
