Romain Grosjean topped the first morning of the Barcelona Formula 1 test.
The Frenchman turned a best time of 1m18.449s in the four-hour morning session in Spain using hypersofts.
Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton, was second fastest and just 0.094 seconds down using soft Pirellis.
Max Verstappen was third fastest with a lap of 1m19.207s set on mediums with Renault's Carlos Sainz Jr 0.659s further back using softs.
Sebastian Vettel spent most of the morning trying to evaluate the tire wear issues he had in the race last Sunday
