Bruton’s son to replace Humpy

SMI Exec VP/National Sales & Marketing Marcus Smith, the son of SMI Chair Bruton Smith, is the "leading candidate to be voted to replace" retiring Lowe's Motor Speedway President Humpy Wheeler next week. Several sources indicate Smith is the "appropriate choice."
