Danica Patrick makes an appearance in Maroon 5 music video

Former NASCAR and IndyCar driver Danica Patrick made a very brief appearance in the music video for Maroon 5’s new single, “Girls Like You".

Patrick, who just officially retired this past weekend following her eighth career attempt in the Indy 500, which ended on lap 68 for her after she crashed in the turn two wall of the four-turn, 2.5-mile Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Speedway, Indiana, spent 13 full seasons as a professional race car driver from the 2005 season to the 2017 season.

Patrick, who has appeared in other music videos before, was one of several athletes, including Olympians Aly Raisman, Chloe Kim and Alex Morgan, along with several other prominent women, including Jennifer Lopez and Ellen DeGeneres, who appeared in the music video for Maroon 5’s new single, “Girls Like You".
