Did Casey get the call?

A reader writes, Dear AutoRacing1.com, I can't remember the last time I saw Casey Mears lead a race, so he loses his ride and suddenly gets competitive? My wife even commented that Casey loses his ride and is now leading the race and gets a caution at exactly the same time that he needs to get gas. To quote my wife: "Does NASCAR think the fans are stupid?". And Patrick Carpentier on the pole in New Hampshire 30 days before the Montreal Nationwide race, talk about wanting to sell more tickets for that race. In the race he fell back like he was dragging a lead anchor. Was the starting grid computer generated? Food for thought…. Tim DeCesaro
