Forecast rain may affect race start time

Torrential rain storms from the remnants of Hurricane Ike at the scheduled 3pm local start time could force race officials to move the starting time of the inaugural Indianapolis MotoGP to an earlier time today.

All riders and race officials agreed last night, during the Safety Commission meeting, that if conditions were as bad as they were Friday during the first day of practice, then some of the support races may be scrapped altogether.
