Two week removed from the 2018 event, planning has already begun for “moving forward" into 2019, ‘fan experience’ once again a high priority at the Honda Indy Toronto for Jeff Atkinson and his team at Green Savoree Toronto, ULC. It’s a format that could – could – return Canada’s only IndyCar race to the heights of its heyday.

“Even a month ago, we were looking at, ‘Okay, we can’t do this for 2018 but we could do this for 2019’. One of the best practices we have with Green Savoree Racing Promotions is that we are fortunate enough to own and maintain four IndyCar races and obviously a NASCAR race. So, we’re able to look at our best practices as a company and see how we can take it from venue to venue.

“A lot of our promotion with this event will continue to be dual-branded, with the NASCAR Pinty Series being the attraction on the Saturday, and the Verizon IndyCar Series on the Sunday. Overall, our learning has been that the ‘double-header works’, and now we have to make sure we have more than one attraction. That alongside fan experience is the focus for next year." Driving
